Tallars Tal
IAM-1001
Living, improvised music with a vibrant closeness. A tight trio who have drawn strength from many different cultures. The whispering of the Swedish pine forest is here blended with moods from New York and the Orient into its own entirely self-evident music.

Dr Dingo: New Age
IAM-1002
Four curious musicians whose music stems from a mutual sensitivity to each other's ideas. Here you'll find free jazz; a high-spirited, but beautiful version of the Swedish hymn "Härlig är Jorden"; splashes of circus music, nursery rhymes and bebop. All mixed together to a unique form of music where each sound has the same value.

Steam
IAM-1003
An improvisation group inspired by living music from different periods and epochs. Here you can hear both singable and cheeky jazz. Tiny sounds are tenderly mixed with sudden outbursts. The trio play many instruments, providing plenty of variation in the moods created. A musical adventure.

Dr Dingo: Live
IAM-1004
Here the quartet lets the melodic flow speak for itself albeit unrestricted by keys. The group also renders a playful declaration of love for melodies like Volare, Abbas Fernando, Charlie Parker's Ah Leu Cha and a couple of standards: Bye-bye Blackbird and My Funny Valentine. The latter two are sung by Thomas Jäderlund. The group is so strongly expressive that they colour all kinds of music with personal intimacy, sometimes with bubbling humour, but Dr Dingo never harbours simple platitudes.

Peter Janson Trio: Tung
IAM-1005
Bassist Peter Janson leads a trio that opens windows onto various magical meeting places. The music comprises colourful meditative pieces, swing, heavy blues and echoes from ballads and folk music. A trio that plays from the heart and for whom closeness to the pulse of the music is vital.

Suites And Speeches
IAM-1006
As a lone musician Thomas Jäderlund invites you into a dialogue. His music is full of drama, humour, beauty, tranquillity, dramatic pauses and nervous chatter. There are no limits to the possibilities offered by the instruments if one dares to challenge them, and Thomas Jäderlund dares.

Tommy Kotter, piano.
Blue
IAM-1007
A brilliant pianist who has drawn inspiration both from jazz and from European impressionist music. Tommy Kotter follows his own path through the landscape of music. The notes have both a meditative image with intrinsic softness and a playfulness with Monk overtones.

Roland Keijser, saxophones, clarinets, buffalo horn, piano, flutes etc.
Blåshål
IAM-1008
Roland Keijser really is a musician of the world. He masterfully makes a range of instruments from different continents vibrate freely. There is no reproduction here: he has developed these traditions and has himself become part of their pattern. Roland Keijser has feeling for musical flow that few in our country have.
